It can also be used to soften large chewing and cheek muscles and give the face a slimmer appearance. It can help to give eyes a more rounded appearance.
Brand names of these products include Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, and Radiesse. These compounds include hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite. They are primarily used to fill deeper lines around the mouth and provide a “liquid” face lift when injected in the cheeks, cheekbones, and temples.
This can be very effective for the right person with leg veins. Sotradecol, sodium tetradecyl sulfate (STS) is used to sclerose the veins and is FDA approved for this purpose.
These are several different acids that can be applied. The most commonly applied are glycolic and TCA. They are used for fine lines, poor skin texture, and discolorations of the face. They can help to restore a youthful glow. Finally, they can be used to treat acne scars.
